Goodbye Summer 2012
Since we already celebrated Zach's first day back to preschool, before I post those precious pictures, I thought it was time for a summer recap.
August was packed with family, youth trips and one final hurrah in Lake Tahoe.
We spent the most glorious morning at the sweetest little spot, Lily Lake. For a few hours we were transported to a beautiful, silent and tranquil scene. It was like we were in a story book. Looking at lily pads, feeding the ducks and soaking up God's awe inspring creation.
One of our absolute favorite memories as a family! That type of memory that you want to bottle up, remembering every little precious detail.
No vacation in our house is complete without a trip to the LEGO store :)
We spent many days at the beach...eating lots of sand!
Building giant sand castles!
Daddy and his boys looking over Emerald Bay
Having fun making mommy chase him away from the edge! :)
We played A LOT of wheelbarrow basketball
Consumed wonderful amounts of ice cream...both boys finished down to the last lick. :) If only I had video of Sam's ice cream parlor tantrum when we tried to have him throw the rest away. Oh, 18 month olds!
Zach with Great Gramps and Grandma. He was in grandchild heaven! What a wonderful and blessed summer we had. Now it's time to practice tracing letters and coloring in the lines!
