Choo Choo! Zachary is 2!

On April 16th we celebrated Zach's birthday Train style! Our big boy talked for weeks about his "Choo Choo Party" and had a blast!

We ate Railroad Waffles, Sidecar Sausage, Chuga Chuga Hashbrowns and Caboose Juice.

Zach is loved to pieces and was a bit spoiled!

Here are some Zachy highlights from his great big year!

~ Zach has loved (most of the time) becoming a big brother! He is learning to share (both toys and mommy) and is starting to get a kick out of making Sam smile. His go to move is burping on command. Gotta love boys!

~ If he could live outside, he would. He has discovered the world of bicycles and scooters and loves anything that goes! He loves BIG slides and going down forward, backward and surf style. He loves jumping, especially off of ladders!

~ His favorite evening activity is to ride with daddy on his bike to the park. This leads me to his favorite phrase..."Come Now Please!"

~ He is learning new words every day! He has to be in the mood to talk, but when he does, he doesn't stop!

~ Some of his favorite toys are his train table, his farm, leggos, his airplane and any car or truck that can crash into anything and everything.

~ He voluntarily eats pretty much everything and is starting to fight less and less for the foods that fall into the involuntary category. :)

~ He is potty training like a rockstar and transitioned to a big boy bed (bottom bunk!) with absolutely zero protest! That's right, he did not even get out of the bed once!!! We are very proud :).

Zach is such a sweetie and has brought our family so much JOY! Happy Birthday Zachary James, we love you!

Enjoying his birthday Waffles!

Train cake! I had such a blast making this. It took ALL day, but it was worth it! I did have back up cupcakes in case I opened the fridge that morning and it had fallen over. I was fully prepared for this tragedy and was ecstatic when I saw it had only tilted!

Sweet kid was too concerned about breaking the train to eat it. Every piece..."uh oh tire", "uh oh coal". Too funny!

Very special Train blanket made by Aunt Lisa ("Sa").

Big boy BIKE!

Scooter from Uncle Bob, Aunt Tara and cousins!

And the grand finale! An awesome car with sirens and all from Gramps and Gram-B, Uncle Matt and Aunt Kari, Uncle Dan and Aunt Erica, Great grandparents and Uncle Brandon and Aunt Lisa! He is in heaven! I will never post video of what I look like trying to push the gas and run along side him while he learns!! :)

Sammy was ready for the party!

Thank you to everyone who celebrated our big boy! Whether you were here, or in one of those other stupid states that has stolen you away, Zach knows that he is cherished by many. Thank you!
