| Between Sammy's enthusiasm and my whale like pregnant self, this is sure a keeper! |
This little (BIG) guy is about the size of most first graders. He has really crossed into little boy world and is just a sweetie. He is extremely relational, is eager to please and has a sensitive little heart. He is asking mature and curious questions about Jesus and soaks up EVERYTHING around him. The pressure's on! :) He loves to learn and asks about a million questions a day. I've always wanted to count for just 1 day. I've gotten as far as our 12 minute car ride to school. 47 questions later... He is one inquisitive little guy.
He loves all things superhero (no idea how that started...must be a boy thing)! Every day is a new adventure, with new powers and an endless supply of bad guys to defeat. He spends hours on lego creations and loves for me to create "homework" for him to do. :) He adores hiking with his daddy and is just flat out brave when it comes to climbing, jumping and riding. He is one intense little dude who is learning to handle pressure. He really likes to be good at things. I'm still really confused who he got that from. :) We are working on helping him push his comfort zone with learning to play soccer (and not being perfect right away). Now that he understands that every time he kicks he doesn't have to make a goal, he is now having a great time!
Zach is a wonderful big brother. He loves to teach Sam and loves having a shadow that will (mostly) do whatever he says. He is absolutely smitten with baby Max and adores every new thing he does. It really has been a delightful surprise to watch him love on the little ones.
Since the day he turned four, he has been ready to be five. He has decided that things like climbing giant trees, playing basketball and skipping rocks are only for 5 year olds. So...four and a half is a big deal. The countdown is on!
