It's that time again. The special time where we remember God's miraculous healing of David, November 20th, 2009. I love today. It is a time where we set aside our seemingly gigantic distractions and remember. We look through pictures and videos, we celebrate with those closest to us and we teach our little guys about the power of God. This year has been unlike the
last 3 anniversaries because Zach is really starting to get it. He's been talking and asking questions about the
whole ordeal throughout the day, and especially at bed time. It really is something spectacular, to witness your children's first glimpses of the majesty and power of God. He's watching the videos of his daddy learning to walk, looking at pictures of his wide eyed 6 month old self, laying on his daddy in the ICU. Every question, every observation, they each give us a chance to proclaim the power of the living God. The power of the prayer of His people, holding our family together when we felt like we were shattering into a million tiny pieces.
Thank you, to each of you who have walked this journey with us. Our prayer is that we will pause to remember. Remember and give thanks for His mighty works, His faithfulness, His steadfast love.
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. "
Isaiah 40:31
